Our Dad served in the 12th Bomb Group of the 82nd Squadron of the Army Air Forces in WWII. His squadron was nicknamed "Earthquakers" based on stories of enemy soldiers yelling "here comes another earthquake" as they saw the 18-ship formation of B-25 Mitchell bombers approaching. 

Growing up as a child, our summer vacations included every two years trekking across the country to my Dad's squadron reunions. The days and evenings would be full of stories and picture sharing of the group's events during the war.
