My father entered the Army at the age of 17. He served in the Korean War from 1954-1957.  He loved to cook and spoke about cooking for hundreds of soldiers.

He returned home and fell in love with his childhood friend, Diane. They married and raised three beautiful children – Donald Jr, Michael and Kimberly. He was proud to have served his country and showed that by wearing his Korean War Veteran cap everywhere he went! He truly loved his grandchildren; Pops spoiled them every chance he could. He was a man with a beautiful heart and touched many lives. 

It is a privilege to honor my father and words cannot express how much I love and miss him every single day. I love you Dad and thank you for your service.
