DESCRIPTION:History Hike of Maybury State Park\n\n\n\nSeptember 20 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am\n\n\n\nJoin in learning how Maybury State Park became a State Park.\n\n\n\nPrior to being Maybury State Park\, the 944 acres were home to a tuberculosis Sanitorium.\n\n\n\nMeet at the Trailhead building and find out all about Maybury from the very beginning.\n\n\n\nThe hike is free\, however\, all vehicles must have a Recreation Passport to enter the park.\n\n\n\nRecreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates\, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am   4:30 pm)\, or at Maybury Park's self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately past the entrance booth.
