    Event Coordinator

We have an opening for an Event Coordinator in Northville, MI who is a highly motivated and polished individual. This position will report to the Founder/CEO at our Northville Campus.

    We are a team of dedicated professionals passionate about working with teens and adults who are on the autism spectrum and/or have other related challenges.

    Role details:

    The Event Coordinator corresponds with event contact persons. He/She must possess strong communications and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail as these skills are vital in this role. He/She is expected to identify the requirements and expectations for each event to ensure satisfaction.


    The Event Coordinator's accuracy in confirming specific details. He/ She must be well organized with multi - tasking abilities and be able to oversee the event ‘s operational details as planned.

    Responsibilities include:
    • Planning and confirmation of all event details, deposits and layouts
    • Event scheduling and event calendar management
    • Working on several projects throughout several departments
    • Communicating to internal departments regarding planning and execution
    • Creation of budgets and timelines
    • Corresponding/meeting with prospective event sponsors and clients
    • Additional tasks as needed
    Your qualifications must include:
    • Excellent written & spoken English – Excellent grammar.
    • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Positive attitude and upbeat demeanor
    • Working for a startup/growing business (preferred)
    • Customer service: 2 years (Required)
    • High school or equivalent (Required)
    • Events management: 2 years (Required)
    Additional Info:
    This position is part-time based in our Northville location with the possibility of full-time
    Typical work hours 9 am to 5 pm, M-F. Some evenings/weekends/holidays may be required for events and other operational needs and flexibility is a plus.
    Must qualify to be legally employed in the US without sponsorship.
    No relocation - residents of the Detroit Metro area only.
