  • Our Dad, Manuel L. Lentine Jr., was born March 19, 1923 in Detroit. He served with the Army during World War II from 1945 to 1946 as a medic. He was stationed in Germany and earned numerous awards, most notably the Bronze Star Medal for saving the lives of seven men during heavy enemy fire.

After returning from the war, he married Henriette Baillargeon in 1951. They went on to have nine kids. He was a devoted husband and family man that never seemed happier than when he was with his family. He passed in June, 2002.

He taught us character, integrity and family values that we proudly carry forward to our own families today. We miss him and think of him often.
