    Northville Public Schools community, made up of the City of Northville, Northville Township and a portion of Novi, is a suburban community in southeastern Michigan. Located 31 miles west of Detroit and 18 miles northeast of Ann Arbor, Northville is in the heart of the state’s educational, cultural, commercial and medical centers allowing residents access to employment in the nearby metropolitan areas.
     
    Northville is a 4-star recognized community by eCities Study, an annual research study conducted by the University of Michigan Dearborn College of Business, recognizing communities with strong growth in business development, while controlling the costs of doing business in town.
     
    The city embraces its 150-year old heritage with historic buildings in downtown Northville, neighborhoods that feature 19th Century homes, and unique historical sites.
