    February 2026 Update

I hope this note finds you warm and well as we head into February after the coldest January I can remember in a long time! Whatever happened to the January thaw? As cold as it is, it is good news for winter sports enthusiasts and our members participating in the Plymouth Ice Festival!

Although it’s cold outside, things are heating up at the Northville Chamber of Commerce as we prepare for our Fourth Annual Community Awards Celebration on February 5th. This year’s dinner will be hosted by Genitti’s, with the awards ceremony held at First Presbyterian Church. Due to renovations at the Marquis Theater, we relocated the event this year and are grateful to First Presbyterian for welcoming us into their space. We remain hopeful to return to the Marquis in 2027, as keeping the Community Awards Dinner in Downtown Northville continues to be a priority for our Chamber.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, donors, and record-breaking participation, this year’s celebration promises to be especially meaningful. We will honor our 2026 Citizen of the Year, along with recipients of the following awards:

Northville District Library, Volunteer of the Year
City of Northville, Volunteer of the Year
Township of Northville, Volunteer of the Year
Northville Chamber of Commerce, Volunteer of the Year
Northville Chamber of Commerce, Servant Leadership Award
Northville Chamber of Commerce, Small Business of the Year
Northville Chamber of Commerce, Large Business of the Year
Northville Chamber of Commerce, Spirit of Northville Award
Northville Public Schools, Educator of the Year

Looking ahead, the Chamber is planning the April State of the Community event in partnership with our Township, City, and Northville Public Schools stakeholders. We are also gearing up for the Northville Farmers Market, opening May 7th, with several improvements planned for this season. In addition, we are currently seeking sponsors for both the Downtown Concert Series and the Farmers Market. If your business is interested in supporting one of these community events, please reach out to maddy@northville.org or call (248) 349-7640.

I look forward to seeing you around the “Ville” and throughout our wonderful community. Go Mustangs!

    Jim Cracraft
    Executive Director
