Edward Servitto, my grandfather, served in the United States Army during World War ll.  From the information that I have, my grandfather went from being a Private to a Sergeant First Class and possibly beyond.  While serving in the war, he was shot in the leg and received a Purple Heart.  He was then honorably discharged on November 13, 1944 from Italy.  He went home to marry my grandmother Katherine.  They had four children together Diana, Edward, Maryann, and Beverly.  Thank you for your service, Grandpa!  We love and miss you so much.
