[NORTHVILLE, MI] – The Northville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Cracraft as Executive Director. Jim is a longtime resident of Northville and has recently retired from a career in public education spanning over thirty-eight years. Jim has served the Northville community as a teacher and building administrator. For the last nine years, Jim has served as superintendent of schools – first in Clinton and second in Gaylord. Jim is excited to begin work at the Chamber of Commerce and work alongside the Chamber Board of Directors and staff.
Jim and his wife Holly raised their three children in the Northville community and have resided here for thirty years. Jim is looking forward to continuing to serve the Northville community during this exciting period of growth and development. As the City of Northville begins to plan for the bicentennial, Jim is looking forward to leading the Chamber of Commerce and serving the Northville businesses in his new role. Additionally, Jim is looking forward to working with the Township and public and private schools in developing opportunities for all students. A college and career ready workforce are important for our local community, city and state.
Looking forward, Jim is excited to build relationships with stakeholders and businesses in the Northville and Metropolitan Detroit community.
