Bill was born in Syracuse, NY, June 13, 1921. He served his country from 1943-1946, entering at age 22. He was considered the “old man”. He received several deferments working as a machinist, and worked in the Motor pool and as an officers orderly. He married Mildred, and raised four children. After the Army, he started “Bill Brown Auto Clinic”, which remained in business for over 40 years.
